Say No To Green Lane Incinerator

The planning application for the Green Lane Eco Park, submitted by Sky Properties, will be decided by Salford City Council’s planning panel on Thursday 19th May 2011.
Local residents from Monton and Patricroft will be holding two demonstrations:
One on Saturday 14th May, meeting at 11am, in Shackleton Street Park in Eccles and another on Thursday 19th May outside Salford Civic Centre, Swinton – time tbc
Over the last 16 months I have been working with local residents to fight this application. The development would be in a totally unsuitable location right next to residential areas, with 160 HGVs going in and out each day on an already congested road. It is vital that as many people as possible attend the demonstrations to show the strength of feeling in the community.
